Grand Opening of Arlington Renaissance Gardens

Grand Opening Garden Party!

After years of hard work by many of your Baltimore neighbors and artists, three new community gardens and their accompanying sculptures will be unveiled. Join us on the Mayor’s Annual Spring Cleanup on Saturday April 27th, 2024 from noon -2pm.

See the latest works from Formstone Castle’s Michael Bowman created in collaboration with @ The House LLC, Arlington Community Association, Arlington Middle School, Maryland State Arts Council (MSAC), Baltimore Office of Promotion & the Arts (BOPA) and Baltimore Dept of Planning’s INSPIRE Program.

The Salad Garden & its sculpture titled “Demeter” and the accompanying muralist NETHER.
The Herb Garden & its sculpture titled “Khroma”
The Jazz Garden & it’s sculpture titled “Apollo”

Learn about how the project came to be, meet the artist, paint a flower to be added to the gardens’ fences and celebrate how far we have come.

There will be walks from the event to the three other community garden art projects including Formstone Castle’s 2019 garden gate titled “Thank You for Helping Me Grow”.

RSVP on the Facebook if you can. This event is free and open to all.
